Harbour Island Driver Reached Almost 90 MPH Before Striking Pedestrians

On October 30, 2010, a deadly traffic crash occurred in Tampa. This week the St. Petersburg Times reported that at the time of that tragic accident, the Defendant was allegedly driving nearly 90 miles per hour. The accident resulted in the death of two pedestrians who happened to be walking across the bridge. The driver is currently facing seven charges: two counts of vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, DUI with property damage or personal injury, and a single count of battery on a law enforcement officer.
