With hundreds of arrests per day expected during the 4 day long Republican National Convention (RNC), it won’t just be law enforcement that will be busy Aug. 27-30. The Hillsborough County Court System also will face a demand for its services. Tampa Bay Online is reporting that the court system expects to have to hold first-appearance court multiple times per day. Additionally, Court will potentially be held at the jail in an effort to reduce the burden on the Tampa and Plant City courthouses.
