Tonight HCSO will conduct heightened DUI patrol through out Hillsborough County, including Tampa. Drivers should be extremely cautious when traveling on the roads tonight, even if they have only had one drink. Law enforcement officers will be looking for tell-tale signs of impairment such as blood-shot, watery eyes, the odor of an alcoholic beverage, bar or nightclub “wrist bands”, or anything else that might indicate a driver had been drinking prior to getting behind the wheel.
