Former NFL Player Arrested After Signing for Package of “Molly”

Former Washington Redskins wide-receiver Donald Caldwell was arrested last week after signing for a package containing nearly five pounds of “molly”, or ecstasy.

Police say the former University of Florida star was at an apartment complex near Busch Gardens where he signed for a USPS package containing 4.8 pounds of drugs. Caldwell has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a third degree felony in Florida. The drugs allegedly have a street value of $60,000 to $64,000.

Caldwell has been released after posting a $2,000 bond. Caldwell played for Washington in 2007 where he played in 8 games, including 1 start.
