On Friday, Sep 27, 2013 HCSO is hosting a DUI Checkpoint from 10 PM until 2 AM in Brandon, Florida at the intersection of State Road 60 and Moon Ave. Drivers in the area should be prepared to be stopped and questioned by police. Officers will be looking for traditional signs of impairment, including the odor of alcohol on a driver’s breath; bloodshot eyes; “bar bands” on a driver’s wrist; and open containers.
