Ash Ghezelbash is a dedicated attorney who represents clients in criminal matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Mr. Ghezelbash takes a client-centered approach to all cases, understanding the personal and collateral consequences these cases can have for his clients.
Originally born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mr. Ghezelbash spent most of his teen years in New Jersey, where he later obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management from Kean University. He then attended West Virginia University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree, and was a member of the Lugar Trial Association where he gained extensive training in motion practice and trial skills.
Additionally, he worked with a professor on various research projects at the College of Law for publication. Mr. Ghezelbash also worked diligently in the Immigration Clinic at West Virginia University College of Law, and also attended Georgetown Law in Washington, D.C. during summer sessions. After graduation, Mr. Ghezelbash relocated to Florida to bring his diverse experiences to clients in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Since joining Taracks & Associates, Ash Ghezelbash uses his background in immigration law and legal training to support the legal positions of his criminal law clients. Mr. Ghezelbash has experience in drafting, preparing, and arguing motions, and has successfully argued a variety of motions to suppress and motions to dismiss in both felony and misdemeanor cases. He ensures that his clients have a realistic understanding of all their options to resolve their cases allowing them to make an informed defense strategy.
Mr. Ghezelbash is passionate about his client’s matters and believes a caring attorney is the only way the criminally accused can receive the protections of the United States and Florida Constitutions. Mr. Ghezelbash is also fluent in Farsi, and in his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, going on runs with his dog, and spending time with his family.
