If you are a Florida Resident and received a traffic ticket from another state, the state that issued the ticket will send the ticket information to Florida and it will be added to your driving record. If the ticket is a point accessible violation, you will receive points on your Florida driving record. Florida does not let a school remove points for a ticket received in another state, leaving you with the option of either paying the ticket or challenging it in the county that it was received.
