June 2011 Tampa DUI Checkpoints

There are three major DUI checkpoints planned for June 2011 in the Tampa area. Thursday, June 23 there will be a checkpoint at Claywell Elementary (4500 Northdale Blvd.) Friday, June 24 there will be a checkpoint at Wilsky Blvd and Linebaugh Ave. Finally, to end the month HCSO will have a checkpoint on June 30 at Alafia Elementary School, located at 3535 Culbreath Road/Natures Way Blvd. These checkpoints will likely result in dozens - if not hundreds - of DUI arrests, so be careful if you are out driving on those nights.
