On-Duty Miami Police Officer Arrested for DUI

Miami Beach Police Office Derick Kulian was charged with DUI after he drove an ATV into a couple walking down the beach. News reports say that Kuilan, 30, was drinking with a group of women at a bachelorette party when he decided to take one of the women for a ride on an ATV. Kulian then drove the ATV, with no headlights on, down the beach at a high rate of speed. The impact left one victim in the hospital with a broken femur and surgery that required the removal of her spleen. The officer was booked on four felony counts.
